SEO/BirdLife Bird Reserve in El CLOT. Hunting and fishing is not permitted. The reserve is an area where different protected habitats meet and native fauna is being restored from 6 hectares previously used as rice fields. It is adjacent to the Natural Park. 1.- The Lagoon. Aquatic fauna and a source of food for the birds. 2.- Tern islands. Nesting site. Islands prevent access by predators. 3.- Reedbed. Nesting and refuge site. 4.- Las toras (vegetation dunes). Ground nesting. 5.- Seasonally flooded area (a scarce habitat now on the delta). Abundant source of food for many species.
